TARGET AUDIENCE Everybody. To all those who want to live a unique experience, learn the culture and enjoy an unforgettable day alone or accompanied.

It is time to live the fishing tradition from the inside, the feature that has always characterized the Mar Menor, the biggest lagoon of Europe.

Our meeting point will be in front of the Cofradía de Pescadores. It has more than 125 years of history and fishing traditions of the Mar Menor, a small see inside of the Mediterranean one. Right in the entryway, you will be welcomed by a local fisherman who will bring you to discover this place, by showing several installations and the fishing port. Once we are in, we could see a fish boat back to the fishing, full of fresh fish and seafood, flying over by seagulls after one night of work through the sea. Moreover, we will see how the products are bring out from the hold, but we will also learn how many kind of fishing boats exist. Finally, we will enjoy different fishing techniques and what it is possible to catch depending on the month of year.

After that, we will continue our tour, following the daily tasks of these anglers, to long with them through a real auction between buyer and angler. Once finished, we will able to observe a typical specie of the Mar Menor, the ell, packing and ready to be export to country as Holland, Portugal and Germany.

The tour does not end here. We are sure that at the end of the day you will start to be starved. As a matter of fact, It is time to take a cold drink with the opportunity to eat a typical tapas de Caldero.
